All About Mrs. Daneman
I am so excited to be spending my 11th year teaching at Asher Holmes! Being a Colt is an honor and I love sharing Asher's Colt values with our students everyday. I am looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year!
I grew up in Middletown and attended Middletown High School South. I graduated college from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I was a member of the cross country and track team, and had the opportunity to study abroad in Wales, United Kingdom for five months.
After college I taught Kindergarten outside of Wilmington, North Carolina for two years before moving back home to New Jersey. Once home, I obtained my Masters Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education at NJCU and taught first, third and fourth grade at Robertsville Elementary before moving to Asher! This will be my seventh year at Asher. I absolutely love what I do and feel so fortunate to be in Marlboro.
Outside of school I am obtaining my Masters +30 online to continue my education. My husband and I recently celebrated our marriage with our wedding in July and just adopted a puppy. Our cats are not happy with us but will learn to adapt!
I love to practice hot yoga, hike, run, swim and ride my road bike. I also love music and reading a good book curled up by the fire. My husband and I camp often and love being outdoors!
