My name is Kathryn Wetzel and I received my Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and English from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.  I am certified to teach early childhood education and elementary education.  I also earned my Master's in Educational Leadership from TCNJ.

I have been teaching 1st grade at Asher Holmes since 2007.  It is truly wonderful coming to work at Asher each day where I am surrounded by such a fabulous group of students and colleagues.  My favorite part about teaching 1st grade is being able to share my love of reading and writing with my students, and watching them all learn and grow so much.

In addition to growing a group of readers, writers, and mathematicians, I strive to build a classroom community of kind and caring students. I hope to make your child's first year at Asher Holmes a positive and productive one!
