A little about Mrs. Perkins....
My name is Mrs. Perkins and this is my tenth year teaching in the district. I graduated from Seton Hall University with my Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education. A little fun fact about me is that I grew up in Marlboro, and attended Marlboro Elementary School, and Marlboro Middle School. I got married to Mr. Perkins in 2019, I was formerly known as Ms. Zulferino. Last year I had my first child named Tommy who turned one on September 5th, 2022. I love going to the beach, going for walks, spending time with my family, and of course reading! I am excited to teach with Ms. Tishler in Room 3. We love doing mindful activities in the classroom, and I am confident you will enjoy Mindfulness too!
A little about Ms. Tishler....
My name is Ms. Tishler and this is my sixth year teaching at Asher Holmes! I graduated from Monmouth University with my Bachelor's degree in English and Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education. Fun fact about me is that I live right by the beach and it is my favorite place to go! I love going for mindful walks in nature, reading lots of books, and spending time with my friends and family. I am so excited to be working with Mrs. Perkins for the fourth year!! We can't wait for a fantastic year!! :)
