Welcome to 4th Grade!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back to school! As we embark on a new academic year, I wanted to take a moment to address an important aspect of your child's education: the transition from 3rd grade to 4th grade. In 4th grade, we strive to create a more challenging and enriching learning environment for our students. This transition marks a significant step in their educational journey, where they will build upon their previous knowledge and develop new skills. It is also the first year that your child will be switching classes. 4th grade is such an exciting year for growth and I am so lucky to be on this journey with you and your child!
We recognize that this year comes with increased expectations and academic rigor. As parents, you play a vital role in supporting your child during this transition. The best way to help your student is by reading consistently at home, engaging in discussions about books, and helping with homework when needed. We encourage students to take more responsibility and accountability for their learning, behavior, and assignments with increased independence.
Your involvement, encouragement, and praise in your child's education are invaluable. I appreciate your partnership in your child's education and success. If your child faces any difficulties, know that I am here to work with you to make 4th grade the most successful year for them. Please do not hesitate to reach out at any time with any questions or concerns you might have. My email is [email protected]
Thank you so much for your ongoing support!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Smith
