Dear Asher Colts,
Welcome to Second Grade! I am beginning my 27th year teaching and my 25th year at Asher Holmes. Asher is like my second home and it's a very special school where we all feel like one big family. I am super excited to be teaching second grade again this year at Asher. I think Second Grade is amazing! I feel very lucky to have taught fabulous fourth graders and super second graders over the years at Asher.

Here's a little bit about my educational background. My husband and I have a son who is a senior in college and a daughter who is a senior in high school. Over the summer months my family and I love to travel to places all over the United States. Our most recent vacation was spent in Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, DC.  We love museums, trying local foods, and sometimes even going on tours of towns to get a feel for the local cultures and history. I graduated from Georgian Court University with a background in Elementary Education, Special Education and a concentration in English. I also have my masters degree in School Counseling and School Administration through Thomas Edison State University of New Jersey.

If you need to contact me I can be reached by email at [email protected]. Please note, my contact hours are limited to my preparation periods (Related Arts) during the hours of 12:30 pm and 1:10 pm.
