Welcome to Health & Physical Education with Mr. Aconi. I am a lifelong healthy eater and fitness advocate. I have always been passionate about two sports when I was younger; soccer and ice hockey. When attending high school I played goalie for Notre Dame high school. For many summers I would travel to Italy to visit my family in Napoli and play in local calcetto tournaments, which is a game similar to indoor soccer. While in Italy, I discovered a passion for the ocean and scuba diving and became a dive master. I attended college at The College of New Jersey where I decided to major in health and physical education and bring my passion for fitness and healthy living to the classroom. My passion to stay actively fit and healthy still grows and in the past few years I have started a new challenge with competing in triathlons. I look forward to making health & physical education fun for all my students this school year while igniting an interest in life long fitness!
