Welcome to 4th grade 2026-2027!
Hello 4th graders!
I am so excited to be your ELA teacher.
I look forward to teaching you, helping you, learning with you, and most of all having fun as you transform into a strong reader and writer. This year may be challenging at times. Always remember, mistakes are proof that you are trying. You just might not know how to do something....YET :)
WORDS are POWERFUL! Feel free to check out the attached supply list for the 2026 -2027 school year.
For our ELA class you will basically need a red notebook, a folder, a pencil case with pencils, highlighters, and post-its, headphones, and a composition notebook.
(The composition notebook is not on the 4th grade Supple List. I use it in ELA for vocabulary and novel studies. FYI... They are on sale everywhere now for about 50 Cents. You can get any color or design. )
I can't wait to meet you and get started!

Here is a quick fun fact about me just in case you haven't noticed....I LOVE Baby Yoda, Grogu!
I am a HUGE Star Wars fan and I LOVE the ocean/beach.

FYI....MANY activities will be online. I will post homework on the Stream in Google Classroom. Please check Google Classroom DAILY!
