Referrals, Eligibility, CST, IEP...What does it all mean??

Oftentimes, when you are at a meeting regarding your child's speech and language program, you will hear terms thrown around such as "referral", "eligibility", "IEP", etc.  As a parent who may have never experienced the special education process necessary for the speech program, you may feel confused and uncertain.
