Welcome to Mrs. Mandel's Page!
I have been privileged to be part of the Marlboro School District faculty for the past seventeen years. Prior to that, I taught at private elementary schools in New York and New Jersey. I received my Masters in Education from Farleigh Dickinson University, and I am certified in both regular and special education. Over the years, I have worked with students in grades K-5. As I strongly believe that all children learn in different ways, I work to modify and enrich the curriculum for all of my students in order to help them discover their true capabilities and strengths.
As a child, I always enjoyed playing "teacher". In fact, growing up in a house full of teachers meant I couldn't wait until I would be old enough for my first real day of school on the other side of the desk! Now that I am here, I enjoy the opportunities each day presents and find the experience of teaching as wonderful as I had always dreamed it to be.
On my website you will find tips to help you be successful during the school year, games to play, and links to fun and educational websites. Browse the pages when you have a free moment. Enjoy!
